This one took me forever to put together. The video itself wasn’t much of a chore, but creating the music was like… maybe finding hens’ teeth is a good analogy. Between finding time to sit down and work on it, and then endless rounds of “not what I want”, I finally had to create a rule that if it was “good enough” (for almost any definition) then I’d stop there. Finally, something stuck.
Anyway, the fun part of posting any kind of media about my hikes, be it writing, photos, or video, is that I have a fantastic vehicle to go back and recall the day. Holt’s fun. It’s not demanding, but there are some fine views to be had.
Enough about all that. I hope you enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoyed re-living the hike.
