The northern half of the Moats is going to make you work for the peak. But the prize at the top is absolutely glorious.
Mt Tecumseh might not be four thousand feet, but it still carries its weight as well as any four thousand footer.
The sublime is found in the quietude. You, the trail, the mountain, fresh air. Hiking North Pack Monadnock had all that in spades. Perfect.
